Meet our Staff!

Lusy Alfaro: I came to University Village about six months ago from the hospitality industry, specifically hotel management. I enjoy UV because there is never a dull day and my time at work is spent building connections with people. I am currently in college pursuing a degree in Business Management, so I can completely relate to the long nights spent studying! I was raised in a small town and love that Davis still has that charm! I am a happy person and have a good attitude towards everything I do!

Scott Carpenter: I am a native of California, born in the south and raised in the north. A frustrated musician at heart, I enjoy playing the guitar, drums, writing and performing my own music. I have been with University Village since June 2007, when I left a career as a Journeyman Carpenter in the Sierra Foothills. I am proud of my work and consider myself to be a people person. I am happily married to the woman of my dreams and we have two beautiful boys (Max 7yrs and Leo 2yrs). If you see me around town, make sure to stop and say, "Hi!".

Marissa Hernandez: I am new to Sequoia Equities and I am thrilled to be working with such an awesome staff here at University Village Davis! I have been working in Property Management in Davis for a couple of years now. I recently graduated from Chico State, so I know how busy a college student's life can be! I am from a small town nearby and know the Davis area well. I am recently married and have two dogs (who are more like my children!). I love going to Fuji's Sushi and watching scary movies!
